Absent GCSE exam

My parents paid for my GCSEs and I did 9 in total and I got 1 absent. Math I got a 9 and did equally well in my English language and literature. Will my absence in history play a great role in applications for universities

Top Unis usually include your GCSEs in their overall assesment, lower Unis may not look at them at all. Even if they do, its a tiny % compared to your A levels and Personal Statement. Just make sure you meet any required GCSEs - typically Maths and/or English - and dont worry about one GCSE grade.
