van mildert college (after college mistake)

what's van mildert like from someone who lives there? I can't find too much about it online other than it has a lake. I got allocated van mildert today after being given castle a week ago but then durham sent me an email literally saying jk that was a mistake, I had to fill out the college preference form again and they've given me one that's not any of the 8 colleges I put lol. has this happened to anyone else?
