Is it important to study something quantitative?

Think I made the mistake of applying to law. Thought it was interesting and prestigious and all, turns out it's actually oversaturated, overrated and not really even that interesting. Neither does a law degree give you any kind of advantage in the legal profession. Anyone can be a lawyer after a GDL. The world is increasingly reliant on math-capable people and I am worried that by not studying a quantitative subject I will be on the back foot when it comes to working in tech, banking etc.

Honestly rn there's a high chance I take a gap year to reapply for something more quantitative. Maths, CS or Engineering perhaps. I'd like your thoughts on whether my reasoning for such a decision is sensible or not. Am I being foolish?
Are you any good at Maths - and do you actually enjoy studying Maths?
