Accommodations

Hello,
Has anyone stayed at Iq City before? I applied there and will also look at other accommodations. It seems nice and is a short walk to campus.
Thanks

Hello!

My name is Raluca Tancu and I am an Official Bayes Business School Student Representative.
I'm currently staying at Iq City and it is a great accommodation. It is near to the campus and it is an amiable space to live in.
I'm living in a studio with its own kitchen and bathroom. It is an excellent option if you like to cook alone.
There is also the option of en-suite rooms where you have to share the kitchen with other students. This is a great way to socialise and make new friends.

All the rooms are cosy and modern. Make sure to personalise your room and you will feel at home

If you are currently in London, I recommend you to visit the accommodation and to see if you like it or not.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to write back.

Best wishes,

This is great, thank you. My only question is for the rooms, how can I get one with a private kitchen too? When we applied, the only option was an en suite room. There were no options with a kitchen, at least through the school. Maybe iq City's website has that. Also, is there a gym? How is the facility for laundry? How is it around the area (activities, restaurants, etc)? I'm an international student.

Hello!

To get a studio, a room with a private kitchen, you need to book it directly with IQ City, not through the school. You can only get en-suite, shared flats or one-bedroom apartments when you book through the school. You can find all this information here.

IQ City doesn't currently have a gym, but you can join City Sport, the university's gym located 4 minutes from the accommodation.

The laundry facilities are very good, with enough laundry machines and driers for everyone. You need to pay for the laundry through an app.

The area is very nice, with really good public transport connections to the city centre. If you are looking for a larger variety of restaurants, Angel is the right place. Near the accommodation, you can find coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets.

I hope this helps

Please don't hesitate to ask me anything else.

Best wishes,

Hello,Does anyone has information on Alliance House's dorms? I'm currently applying for a one-bedroom apartment, but I can't find any pictures of these. Is someone staying there and can share some? Thanks
