Hi there,

My name is El and I studied Illustration & Animation at Coventry, I have to finished!

My first year was in person as it was before the pandemic but my 'break' from work was cut short due to Covid becoming a thing and all of us having to leave our accommodation almost immediately unless we had nowhere else to go.

Luckily the worst part of the pandemic was during that summer but once 2nd year started, I was able to move into the house I got with my friends but my first semester back was online. We used Microsoft Teams and Coventry started using a website called Aula to keep us connected with our lecturers and have somewhere to go to check on our work and all the lessons if we missed one.

Second semester of 2nd year was a mix of in person and online but we were all put into smaller groups and all had to wear masks with the window and doors open- because I was an art student, we used to spend a lot of our free time in our studios creating and talking but we weren't allowed to do this anymore as the classrooms had to be cleaned every 2 hours.

Third year, it was up to us if we were online or in person! I chose to be in person due to my learning difficulties which made online learning hard and also preferring the face to face socialising anyway! But whenever we got sick or caught COVID, we were able to stay home and turn to online for that time being.

I hope this was in interest for you!

El

Hello,

I've been studying Psychology for the past three year's. Other than during the pandemic, the entire course has been on-campus which has been great!

Ever since the pandemic began, my course has had a mixture of in person and online sessions. Our lectures are being recorded but they are also live if you want to go in person, so you can technically choose. You can choose whether to watch lectures from somewhere or you can go to the campus.
