It’s asking me to prove my identity but I already gave my passport number for my UK passport.
What do I do now? Do I restart my application and add it in again? I know there is a form to fill out so can I sent that digitally because the rest of my application is digital

I would recommend contacting them? It might be that you need an additional document to prove your identity.

When did you submit your application? It takes 24-48hrs to check your passport details with Her Majesty's Passport Office (HMPO). However, we may require further evidence. I would suggest sending us a live chat/secure message via your online account or call us on 0300 100 0607, we can then look into this with you.
