# y = 1/x graphs watch

1. 1. how do you draw these and how do you like stretch or enlarge them?

2. how do you find out asymptotes of any graph?

2. Find asymptote:

Denom = / = 0

find limit as x -----> infinity.

i.e.:

x/(2x-4)
x =/= 2

x ---> infinity, f(x) ---> 1/2.

asym at 2 and 1/2.

gen shape of 1/x:

try points if you have not seen this graph before.
