I just did my GCSE English Language Paper 1 exam on Monday, and you had to either 1. describe an unusual place suggested by a photo (which was of a random Mexican kitchen) or write a story about a life-saving event. All I could think of was an old story I wrote but it ended in a death (kind of) so I decided to choose the photo description and embed the story into it. Now I am scared that not all of the focus was primarily on the photo as I mentioned it comparing to a person, and then in one paragraph would talk about another place. Would I lose marks even if I did describe the photo to an extent?
