Hi guys!!
Me and my friend are planning on starting a tutoring business together and was wondering if there was any legal requirements?

We are both 16 and for the tutoring we are offering online (single and group) and in-person (group and at another centre) for prices ranging from £7-£15

Do we need to do any courses/checks/certificates in order to do this??
Any advice is appreciated-thanksss!!

You will definitely need a current and enhanced level of DBS check. References are also a good idea.

Tutoring is unregulated - you can do whatever you want.

You'll need to register as self employed with HMRC for tax purposes.
