Why js is ranked at the top compared to python?
Ranked by whom? By using what measure?

If it's rank by usage then it's simply because JavaScript is baked into every web browser, and as a result is used in almost every web site which has any kind of interactivity. That's a lot of users, and a lot of developers, using it.

That doesn't mean is the fastest, most secure, easiest to code, most memory efficient, or any other ranking measure you can think of. In fact, it's not any of those things.
