I'm hearing lots of people talking about qmul and barts like they're different. I know its the same uni but is the campus different or something? Why is it referred to separately. Also is barts for medicine or dentistry? I'm quite confused.

QMUL is the university. Barts and The London is the school of medicine and dentistry - they were separate from QM entirely until they merged some years ago (in the 90s I think). “Barts” has a history spanning centuries so has retained its name and legacy, but probably not for long by the way things are going.
A bit like Guys and St Thomas for KCL’s medical and dental school.
