what if u get Es and Ds in summer examination boards in year 12 can u still improve and get A if u do good in 13 ?

Technically it's possible, though you would have to work insanely hard ! Your final grades depend on tests rather than effort and homework.

You can but will have to work very hard.

Also bear in mind: if you are applying to university in year 13 you will need predicted grades based on year 12 results to apply.

it depends. if you put significantly more effort in from now onwards you could boost your grade to a c maybe a b. But this would need to happen very quickly as your ucas predicted grades (which are what are sent with your uni applications) are taken from all your y12 mocks. You should have a chance to prove that you can get a better grade than your summer mock, but you will definitely have to work for it, and ucas grades are usually decided fairly soon at the start of y13.
