No idea. Just revise them all.

My daughter's main problem is not sticking to a formulaic essay structure, and forgetting to mention relevance to the real world at the time, rather than forgetting about characters.

How many quotes are you all memorising?

my problem is on characters, i can memorise 10 quotes from crooks, curley's wife, candy, george and lennie, however i can't memorise any quote from curley and slim

If it helps at all, there have not been any repeated questions in any past paper from 2018 to 2022, so you'd have to revise everything anyway.
