It's going to be heavily heavily weighted in getting rid of covid jobs at places like Test and Trace. Surely that would go without saying.

Anyone who thinks that there are going to be huge cuts at Defra or the FCO is deluded.

As a civil servant, no - why would I be?

I'm at the max of my salary scale with 14 years service come September. So what's the redundancy pay out? Like £85k, £30k of which tax free?

I could live on that at current expenditure for about three years. Or 18 months if I kept up my level of savings/investments.

Edit
Surely shouldn't concern you as you'll have a job in finance before voluntary redundancy rolls out.
