SFE HMRC income variance exception

Hi, my mum has a HMRC income variance exception on her SFE account to support my application. I called in and I was told about sending in a cover letter to agree or disagree?? I can’t call HMRC to inquire about this as they’re not picking up. My mum is unemployed and doesn’t have any sort of income other than tax credit which is joint with my dad’s (however she didn’t mention this so maybe this is the problem?) please let me know what she’s supposed to do next so my application isn’t delayed. @sfe

This status means that the figures you have provided differ to those confirmed with HMRC. When the team receive this response they will use the figures confirmed with HMRC to resolve this for you.
