I'm a comic reader/collector and I just opened the recycle bin outside our property to find my copy of Moon Knight 2 in there! It was face up and instantly visible, meaning someone had to have known it was in there when it was closed.
I'm struggling to remember if I kept it in my room or not. Admittedly, I don't lock my bedroom door cause one of my housemates likes to bolt the front door at night. I'm out late quite a lot so leave it open, meaning she can't use the "I thought you were in" reasoning.
I'm pretty sure it *was* in my room as I read some comics in the lounge yesterday but took them back to my room and none of them were MK. I'm not sure what to do, as I know if I talk to them they'll all just say it wasn't them. I also feel like they can't get away with this - not the first time they've crossed boundaries!
P.S. This isn't a very cheap one, either, it's worth around £15-£20.

You should take your Home security seriously.
At Uni, I always locked my room when I was out.
You should confront your housemate and also report this to your landlord. No housemate has a right to do this to other housemate's belongings.
