Hey everyone!
Does anyone know how I can solve this question:

"dy/dx = 1/ 6x(x-1)^1/2

Find an expression for d^2y/dy^2 in terms of x. Give your answer in its simplest form."

I know how to find the second derivative- but the layout of dy/dx caught me out.

they probably mean d2y/dx2

yeah. I'm differentiating. It's the same thing except I cannot type my powers out like that. Sorry for the confusion.

Have you solved this now?

If it's \displaystyle \dfrac{dy}{dx}  = \dfrac{1}{6}x(x-1)^{1/2} then it should be a reasonably straightforward application of the product rule to get the second derivative
