True, however if you want a quicker 'offer' or decision as such, you would have been better off sending it early - like Early-mid October

Yeah, see thas the problem
Universities like NTU, aberdeen or even Oxford and Cambridge receive vast numbers of applications, so the chances are if you send your application earlier, you'll get a earlier response.

If you have applied yesterday (friday) then I'd expect an offer or rejection in the next month - no longer than early January.
You may get lucky and the people in the the department you chose is not so full of applications this year; and thus a quicker response ! :yep:
