Do we include the rest mass of the electron in the calculations?
My teacher said we dont need to but i just saw a question that used it so idk. I do aqa if that makes a difference

Is this gcse? If it is, then you don't as it's pretty much negligible. for a-level/as I'm not sure

I do AQA too, and my textbook says to calculate only the mass of the nucleons for specific charge and that using the actual nuclear mass would be a neglible difference. Where did you see a question that included electron rest mass?
