So me and 6 other friends decided to share a flat in a student accom. But because people are fake 3 of them are leaving, me and the 3 left don’t want to live in this accom as it’s too expensive and only agreed because of these people. In the contract it says we need to find a replacement tenant but how do i do that for 4 people? is there any other way to get out

Speak to your student halls manager, they might be able to help you find a way out of your contract or at least help you advertise for new people.

the persons leaving are the ones responsible to find replacements for themselves and as individuals - not you the ones who are staying. you are staying, is that correct? then you only have to worry about your share split between 7 tenants. the ones leaving are still responsibility for paying their part of the contract.
