probably not if your just embedding the quotes in but if ur making a statement on its own about the quote, itll probs help since itll bring a sense of structure to your essay
maybe just remember the acts if that makes it easier, or like the events surrounding that quote

u dont have to remember the exact act and scene but u can if u want to show off to the examiner and its good to know the chronological order
