KCL isn't really that strong for CS or engineering compared to Bristol, and being in London is essentially meaningless for the field since unlike finance, tech roles are not centralised in London that strongly. From a purely academic standpoint both in terms of background and strength of the department(s), Bristol far outstrips KCL in my opinion.
