getting very p****d off with student finance now.

recieved letter stating my payment dates for my grant. the first one being the 27th october 08

its now the 8th november and despite checking my bank every day i still dont have it. i was understanding the first 2/3 days as it may take that time to clear through the bank, but nearly 2 weeks? are they having a laugh

plus i have uni on my case for the money which i cant pay unless i get this grant, and they want it by the end of the month.

You'll need to phone your LEA about this...

Have you taken your notification letter into your university?

NI numbers aren't blocked for grants, just the loan element. Therefore, the only think I can think of is that either your uni hasn't confirmed you're in attendance with the SLC, or there's a problem with your bank details.
