There are many options of what you can choose to do after year 11. Some people may choose to stay at their current school for sixth form or to get a fresh start at a new school. Some people may decide that college is a better place for them because they want to focus on something more practical or vocational rather than academic. Some people may decide that education is not for them or they want to get experience of work before they are out in the big wide world and choose to do an apprenticeship instead. Some people may suddenly make up their mind on results day. What are your plans for after year 11?
Personally for me, my plan is to stay at my current school for sixth form. I know that some people at my school are also staying on whilst others are going to another school or to college. Also, there are about 2 or 3 people doing apprenticeships.

My eldest is going to a sixth form college in September to study A Levels in Classical Civilisation, Fine Art, and English Language.
