Hi, I have to do an NEA for a-level history spanning 100 years (for mine, must be about 1800-1900 or earlier) and need some ideas! 'To what extent....' or 'assess this view' questions. I currently study Tsarist and Communist Russia 1855-1964 and the making of modern Britain 1951-2007.

So far I have looked at crime and punishment, witchcraft and the supernatural, the history of NZ, and British colonialism / the idea of a 'white saviour', but there's nothing that I'm really passionate about there. Any ideas? Thanks!

Lots of these ideas seem a bit broad, but the games/puzzles one did make me think about maybe considering the role of leisure time for people. Just got to pick an era and location lol, thank you!
