Just to let everybody know that the answers for
Edexcel C2 (January 05) exam are now online at MrMaths

Still waiting for a PDF of the paper though. I have my written copy (otherwise I couldn't have mode the solutions) but my scanner is down at the moment. Should be up in the next couple of days.

Good luck to everyone who sat it...ur mark will now be revealed :tsr:

could u please do the break down of marks for question 8 part (b)

that's the only one i got wrong and i'm pretty sure half of why i did is correct

These solutions have been produced without a copy of the markscheme so I haven't got a breakdown of where each mark goes.
However, after producing many solutions for various Maths exams I can confidently guess.

Using the integration method i used,
[b1] ∫ (3x - 20).dx - ∫(x²+6x+10).dx
[b1] Correcting putting the limits on the integral sign
[m2] integrating both functions correctly
[b1] correct substitution of limits to work out area
[m1] working out the area
[a1] answer

total
[7]
