I have an offer for an MPhil in law (proposed research topic in the field of sentencing) at an Australian uni and for a specialised MSc in Organised Crime at a UK university. I have a particular interest in criminal law and law enforcement. I hope to one day complete my PhD in the criminal law space.
I am currently torn between the two masters options. The MPhil in law would be low cost compared with the MSc however the MSc course looks particularly interesting. I am currently working full time and so either course would be on a part-time distance basis.
Does anyone have a view on which of these courses would be most beneficial career wise?
