Allen Court Accommodation

Hi, I am an international postgraduate student starting in the coming September. I would like to apply for accommodation in Allen Court, and I saw in some others post this week that rooms are available in Block G at Latimore House. I would like to apply for in Block G as well, but seems it's not available in my application portal😅 The only options I have now are mostly in Brightmore House, and I wonder if anyone knows if Latimore House is exclusive to undergraduate/local students or am I missing something😐 I am quite confused if I should wait for future release or go for Brightmore House now. I really like Latimore House, but I am also afraid if I have waited I would end up not having Allen Court options at all. Anyone else have similar experience?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think I saw threads that mentioned that they don't release all the accommodation choices in one go, and kind of stagger it so that there's more options for those who decided to firm Sheffield. I don't know too much about how they're letting students choose accommodation, but it may be useful for you to go to the official threads where they had student reps answering questions

Hi!I lived in Allen Court last year, in Latimore House block G. There is no difference between Brightmore and Latimore, just different buildings (but same accommodation). Brightmore has the Gym, and Latimore has reception, common room and laundry. The social life in both is great!
