But then you can get fat. I'm on meds that increase appetite already I don't think that's the best idea. Also, how is cooking going to help you meet people, you do that at home by yourself?

I never have had any luck on dating apps, I dont even look that bad, I just don't have the chat. Plus girls think im too gay for them a lot.
you probably will have better luck on an actual dating app than the student room

idk maybe dont be on student room taking advice from 17 year olds?

I've been part of this forum since I was like 15 and I've picked up three degrees since then and am doing a PhD at the moment. It's not only A level students on here, there are plenty of postgraduates.

What meds are you on?

Olanzapine, Escitalopram, and Pregabalin. Olanzapine makes you ravenously hungry and sleepy.

When I was diagnosed was like 10 years ago when I had a breakdown. Been on it so long now, I go psychotic if I come off them. Wish there was a med with no side effects that works. I tried aripriprozol but it made me more anxious and didnt give the relaxed feeling of olanzapine.

Oh no. Can I ask if you used cannabis as a teen?

Can I also ask what your race is?

Yeah I did smoke weed as a teen. And I think it contributed to my breakdown tbh. I'm mixed white. Half Irish, half romani Spanish. But I'm the most white, irish looking one out of my siblings and cousins. So I can use my white privilege lol, but if I was black I would have still gone down the studying/phd route so I don't agree when people say Ive gotten where I am because of white privilege.
