Something I've been curios about, if you get a kitmark (wrong uniform, unnatural hair etc..)the first time in a term can a teacher issue you with a detention or can they only do so after you've had another kitmark

You'd have to enquire specifically with your school as detention systems range wildly across the UK.

I, for one, have never heard of the word 'kitmark' in my life.

The first time they will probably let you off or ignore it.
However, if members of staff spot you wearing incorrect uniform a second time they will press a secret panic button on ISAMS at which point royal marine commandos from the nearest barracks will be deployed onto your location and within 3 minutes and men with machine and machetes in the other will storm your position while singing the national anthem.

At my old school unnatural hair would see you suspended until you get it fixed or it grows back.
