In my aqa GCSE English lit exam today I was writing my essay and at the end I realised I forgot to do paragraphs. So I quickly went back and did the // to indicate where the paragraphs will be. So will the examiner know that I was supposed to put paragraphs?

Yes, they will. Many students do this for English and as long as the // sign is clear, they’ll know what you mean.
