how about you message him and ask about it in the most roundabout way possible? we're merely TSRians and we wouldn't know what this guy's relationship status means.

hiii,
theres a guy ive met who i really like. we are kinda friends. yet when i saw his facebook page, i saw that he is in a complicated relationship with a named girl.
what does this exactly mean? and what should i do now?
i feel slightly gutted :frown:

thnx everyone!

Just bide your time...dont make a move, just carry on the friendship and try to get to know him a bit better.

I'm sure as your friendship evolves he will tell you about his relationship.

I'd also say if he makes a move...don't get involved if he's still in the relationship, because someone will end up getting hurt...probably you.

Yeah, this "complicated" thing could lead to a perfect conversation opener to discuss his feelings and the current status of this relationship. Most people put complicated when it's kind of on/off, or not quite yet into a relationship, or having a bad patch.

Exactly

If it is complicated... you never know what might happen
So just stay friends, be there for him if it gets rough... and you never know- he might see you as more than just a friend after. :yep:

I don't know anyone who puts 'complicated relationship' and is actually serious? I mean why would you, you'd look a bit of a muppet. So probably just a joke... when you having banter with him just say (jokingly) "so hows the complicated relationship going then huh" or something to that effect. sorted
