Does this argument truly warrant the deliberate isolating of a 'friend' and subjecting them to seeing you with an abundance of company whilst they are all alone?

Sounds like you understand this fear well enough given its your motivation for winning your 'friends' over.

Also, if your friends need to be won over, I'm not entirely sure that they're your friends to begin with.

Edit: OP seems to have removed what they wrote. They had an argument with a 'main' person in their friendship group and wanted advice on winning over their other friends so that aren't the one who ends up by themselves.
