Well if its a popular bar theirs a decent chance you find someone you connect with, as for a soulmate, never say never.
Also depends what type of bar & time you go....

Going to the student bar is usually a good place to chill out in your spare time.
Try some drinks that you haven't tasted before, listen to music and meet lots of new people.
But don't go there solely to meet women or desperately seeking your one true perfect partner.
That would only make you feel negative and under immense pressure.
Big risk of looking desperate or weird to other people visiting the bar too.
It will take time, mutual attraction, lots of positive communication, shared values and compatible dealbreakers for you to meet the one.
Remember that it is not realistic to be expecting to find that your soulmate's life/looks/personality are something out of a mills& boon novel or disney fairytale movie.
Odds are that if your soulmate is somewhere close to your uni or other local area she won't always be outside staring at you through the window with the word soulmate tattooed on her forehead or having a drink inside the bar and able to recognise you immediately upon first sight as the soulmate she has always been seeking.
Good luck!
