Better for you? How would we know?
Will people look at your CV and discard it because you "only" went to Leeds instead of Exeter, or "only" went to Exeter instead of Leeds? No.

The problem is that you're hard pressed to find anybody who has been to both universities in order to give a proper comparison of the two universities.
I went to Leeds for a couple of years and liked it very much, but I have never been to Exeter.
