hi
I intend to study economics, hisotry and poltics at a-level.
I literally despised being lazyty and I want to keep my brain working as I have seen during the summer my knoweledge about anything is very bad.
Any useful tips to get ahead iin life?

I'd say just maybe read what you will be learning in your subjects, you don't have to cover the content but maybe familiarise yourself. Also mentally prepare yourself for the overwhelming workload in a levels. It is A LOT. And you will have to manage your time and stay on top of your work. Unless they set pre-work then you don't really have to do much.
