1. Listening to loud music, has the ability to make small ruptures to the ear drum. This causes a lot of discomfort and will cause ringing

2. Yes...ear wax has a LOT to do with ringing. Sometimes it builds up in the hard to get to places of the ear. Instead of going and having them syringed, put a couple of drops of olive oil into the ear a few times a week. This will soften the structure of the wax and will wil ru out of its own accord.

3. If you are worried, see a GP. I know how discomforting it can be as I ruptured my whole ear drum (not by music...it was burst with a cotton bud) and only half has grown back...it has been over a year!

Thanks for your replies. Woah, B4DGER, hope your hearing will be ok! I actually did get ear syrringing once, but that hurt! I'll do the drop thing.

I'm hard of hearing(deaf basically) and have hearing aids, it's caused by summat do with the hairs in my ears.

But i also ruptured one of my ear drums, make sure that you do NOT do that :|

It's possible you have tinnitus as well, I have a mild form of it, whilst having severe hearing loss.

My god my ears are crap :frown:
