How does everyone think they did? Clinical scenarios was a killer for me
With all due respect I think it would be advisable not to address that sort of question until the selection process is fully over. In my opinion someone might be incited to share too much detail which would only benefit the users of this site and would render the whole process unfair.

I'm a trainee from the last intake. I've just hung around to answer questions and elucidate things that aren't really clear on the websites. God knows I was confused about the job when I applied.

What field are you applying for?
Hi I know you have probably been advised not to discuss interview questions with other people .. but I have not been to many interviews and although I know i can do this job/MSc and give it my all...im not good at getting that across so I really want to preprare for my interview next tues, can you give me any tips from your past experience when you were interviewed?

I'd like to know as well. I asked them and they just said to me it doesn't matter who short-listed me. I'll be interviewed for all the posts I applied too...blah, blah, blah.

I had my interview yesterday (clinical biochemistry) and compared to the one I went through for a PhD at Sheffield it was a breeze. Dont get me wrong, there were some tricky Qs but I feel the style of interview was good! Without giving anything away, just be confident and you will be fine!!

Shame we have to wait 3 weeks now (stupid audiology interviews lol) but I still say top 25% is not an easy feat!!!!

Good luck to all others (well non-biochemists ha)

Yeah if its in the same specialty it doesn't matter. If you're shortlisted you're shortlisted. The way it works out on the day is the highest scorers get the jobs. Even if their choice is no longer available, they will have the option of changing before someone else will be offered it.

    Yeah...this was me being stupid

When the chap called me, he said something about 'listing the three places...', and I thought he meant those were the places that shortlisted me. I now realise he just meant I had to list my top three!

    Sorry about that!

    Hi folks,

Just a quick question for those that have already attended interview. Did you take along copies of your degree certificates? The letter only talks about two forms of photographic ID but not sure if taking along copies of qualifications would be a good idea as well?

I think the individual trust will check all that if you get offered a place.

Also take two photocopies of each document or they will ask you to email scans of the IDs.

    Thks mate .

I thought there'd be more ppl on here who's applied for vascular/cardio getting to the next stage. I got no one else to talk to about nervous, travelling, preparation, etc for Monday (like you guys had over the last couple of days in your specialisms).
