I'm basically going to be applying for university for 2009 entry, must start my application now!

I've been doing lots of research into ideal careers and degrees.

The ideal careers I would like to pursue (found through Adult Directions and talking to Uni advisor) include -
    Investment Analyst
    and Investment Fund Manager.

I want to carry on Maths to a higher level (degree) and was initially thinking of doing Financial Mathematics, now I am also considering doing Mathematics and Economics which would be the best degree to go for?

What sort of unis are worth looking at for these type of degrees? Apart from London Unis as I really can't afford to live in London and don't want to give my cars up! Prefer East Midlands.

    leicester and nottingham?

Like the look of both Leicester and Nottingham and have emailed them with regards to my qualifications, I can see me having to take a gap and do more though than what I have got! Hopefully not though as I don't want to really be nearly 22 when I enter university!
