Help on Physics GCSE question!

Hi, I don’t really understand a question. If you could kindly help me out a little it would mean a lot! (Question attached below)F84D8875-B9C1-4F38-BD4E-2C530971BD0C.jpeg

So for energy transfers, I think initially the cyclist and the bike have all the energy stored in the gravitational potential store and then as the bike starts to roll down the hill, GPE is converted to kinetic energy (KE). When the cyclist applies the brakes, energy is transferred/dissipated from KE store to the thermal store of the surroundings (this is because of friction between the brakes and the tyres causing heating).

The forces doing the work: I think gravity causes the transfer from GPE to KE store and friction causes the transfer from KE store to the thermal store of the surroundings.
Hope this helps but I might be wrong lol
