Yeah thats true, but one of my best friends used to live next door to a paedophile (her parents only told her when she was alot older obviously), and she was good friends with his little girl the same age, she'd always get invited round but she said for some reason she felt scared of the place so only went in a couple of times. So maybe sometimes kids have an instinct.
Her parents later told her that when the neighbours moved away its because the dad was convicted of molesting one of the little girl's friends.
And they let their kid go round to his house?! I wouldn't particularly care if a convicted child molester lived on my street, but letting my kid be alone in his house would be way over the line.

    Paedophile

    Sorry, just found that annoying.

Whether you like it or not, he had anonymity. Also, he's dead and it doesn't really matter now.

No it can't, stop talking nonsense. How?
Would you take your child to an area that housed a convicted paedophile?

The man is dead, but you know how these things are, mud sticks unfourtunately.

MJ wasn't convicted but as soon as people hear the world paedophile they turn against you.

The parents didn't know at the time! They only found out when we was convicted and moved away. So they were probably very shocked at the time, especially as they always used to have his little girl round to play. They just didn't tell my friend until she was old enough to understand and when it came into conversation.

Where do you propose he lives then? Where do you actually find an area that is absolutely void of children? Stop being so stupid.

    A 'paedophile instinct'...
haha, no, but sometimes you can have an instinct when something isn't right. or maybe she just had an irrational fear of the dad that turned out to be a good thing.

Where did that last bit come from? Nobody said anything about putting his rights above the victims.
    From the bit that said

I can't see a problem with someone watching child porn - he has a right to masturbate
To say that if a person watches child porn then it shouldn't be considered a problem just because of a 'right to masturbate' is clearly putting the paedo first.
It should be obvious that the child in the video would not want the video to be watched. This should come way before the 'right to masturbate'.
So to dismissing CP watching as not being a 'problem' is putting the paedophile first, and not the kid in the video.

I'm not even going to post about this any more.. some people here are far too stupid.

the people on here, who are mainly left liberals, defend peadophile's rights. But If one moved next door to them you know they'd be on to the council straight away, asking for them to relocate the person.

What's stupid about being concerned? I am angry at the council not him (neccesarily). I am angry that they placed him next door to a childminder.
    What's stupid about that?

Not a valid argument, based entirely on supposition about people you've never met and how they might act in a situation they have never encountered. Logic or GTFO.

The stupidity is in assuming he'll act upon his urges, which of course a lot of (the majority, even though you probably won't accept that) peadophiles do not.

It's obviously a crime to make it and the police can work on that but why stop people watching what's already there?
If you were abused as a child would you want people masturbating over it?

Hah, yes, you go on expecting logic and sense from me, and I'll expect bull**** and Daily-Mail rantings from you. Then everyone's happy.

Are you being serious? This man was a convicted child molester and I'm stupid for assuming there is a chance he could pose a threat to children?

He may not act upon his urges but there is a posibility he could. I don't know why you fail to see that.

I am a very liberal person. I don't believe in discriminating against somebody because they are different, but I have a right to be a little angry if the council puts somebody in the area who poses some harm to the residents.

He had the right to live wherever he wanted but we had a right to know. One persons right shouldn't be valued over another and that is essentially what has happened.

If he was assualted because he was a convicted paedophile then I would be just as angry.

It was you who just dismissed my valid argument.

so if a peadpholie moved next door to you and you were responsible for the welfare of young children, you'd carry on as normal would you?
