Anyone doing French Revolution and Rule of Napoleon?
Also I would appreciate a structure for laying out the 10 and 20 marker
two paragraphs for each factor and a conclusion comparing both for 10 marker

20 marker: intro, then i would do 3-4 main paragraph (do 4 if u can) then conclusion

How can you manage 4 main paragraphs in 40 minutes on top of planning and the intro/conclusion?
Hello! quick question for those that do Democracy and Dictatorships in Germany: if I got the question "Assess the reasons why the Weimar Republic survived the 1920s.", should I pick a single factor and argue that this was the defining reason (tying other factors to it etc), or could my line of argument be that the Weimar Republic survived because it overcame the challenges and established some form of a balance of power? many thanks

For an “assess the…” question your meant to put your factors in order from most to least important (I don’t do this topic so I’m not sure what the factors would be), in your second and third paragraphs your EOPJ (end of paragraph judgment/link back to the q) should link back to the first factor explaining why it helped the Weimar Republic survive and why it is less important than your first factor but for the third paragraph you would link it back to both first and second paragraphs
thank you!!

Any guesses for the napoleon question? Im thinking that what hasnt cone up will. Ie ten markers on constitutional changes v legal changes or marengo vs ulm . Not sure what topic 2 could be. Also im betting on the exam's advance info (that said topic 2 and 3) meaning one pair to choose will be a topic 2 10 marker and topic 3 20 marker whilst the other option will be the reverse of that
Yeah thinking the same in regards the question structure; quite odd that they only chose two topics - it’s a good thing anyways as it gives us choice extra choice. In regards to the question itself; don’t have a clue tbh. Topic 2 for 2020 they did political instability from the period of 1789-1794 - perhaps something similar to that or even the reasons for the attempts of constitutional monarchy not working? Perhaps. Unlike As level - which goes into specifics such as reasons for the fall of Robespierre - a level is rather such a broad question - but I can’t see what other question they could ask apart from the monarchy/ political instability as 20 marker. Unlikely on terror as that was a period of 73-74 and quite specific. Napoleon perhaps I was thinking reason for rise to power in 1799 - it was a sample paper question, check it out
Hi, urgent. In my 10 mark question i wrote a great essay but somehow wrote about the wrong subject for one of the factors. (Specifically i do napoleon and wrote about marengo instead of austerlitz - doh! ). Does anybody know how much this limits my mark in the 10 mark question? If, assuming, the rest is perfect - is it 0 marks or just a low mark like 4

firstly, don't stress it's out of your hands now.
Realistically, as long as your ulm paragraph was well analysed and evaluated and your conclusion was logical and answered the question, I think you could still get 5-6 marks.
Finally, this paper is only worth 15% of your final grade, and the question you slipped up on is the question with the lowest mark tally in the whole of the subject.

Anyone here do Democracy and Dictatorships in Germany? I thought the 10 markers were very nice, but the 20-markers were a lot harder, on more niche topics which required specialised knowledge. I chose the first question - so Communist revolts vs. Kapp Putsch, and Nazi religious policy - and felt I was able to write two pretty decent answers. Luckily I’d revised religion in some depth.
anyone did the Russia 1894-1942 one??

Literally never seen a worse paper. I think Adolf himself was involved in writing that one. How do you even get an essay out of Nazi religious policy?
