    yeh i have realised i need to be trying much harder to get the grade i want...

    last question for today i promise what is dy/dx of

    y = 2sec(1-4x)

    i have -8sec(1-4x)tan(1-4x)
    but really not sure

    i couldnt distinguish when to use which method this morning (quotient, chain or product). But am starting to get the hang of it now

    hi i understand how to find one soution to the following equation, but dont understand how to get the others (3 more?)

    i know that by using cos etc you can draw a graph and get them that way...

    2cot^2 x -3cotx -2 = 0

    the range is between 0 and 2pi

    my solution is x= 0.46
    but i dont know how to get the other 3
