Hi guys, I share a kitchen with 4 other people, I brought an apron yesterday and I have been wearing it for a few nights when cooking, however I am getting really annoyed that when the other people come into the kitchen they all take the mickey and untie it! This is so annoying it is only an apron.
Does anyone else wear one at uni and have the same problem, or do you not bother?

They are only having a laugh, if it really bothers you then tell them and ask them to stop.
Personally I don't know anyone who wears an apron.

Ignore them - they will soon become bored with their infantile behaviour.

Get a chef's apron with really long ties and tie it at the front - that way they won't be able to untie it. Personally (coming from a catering background) I think it's kind of gross to cook in your street clothes, without protecting either yourself or your clothes, so I always wear an apron when I'm cooking ... but each to their own!
