    I know it's another one of these threads but I am officially confused now after reading all the other threads regarding a U grade.

    I got a U for Photography, and was told that I had to put the result down on UCAS.
    Is this not true, then?
    I am continuing with Photography in A2 and I'm retaking the coursework and exam.
    Should I just put that I'm retaking the course (which I am) and leave the grade as pending?
    I've sent my application off to my referee, but I can always get it sent back to me.

    Hey .. not at all .. you dont put a U grade down ... Well just put pending as you are retaking it, seriously believe me on this. For my UCAS, apart from my AS that I dropped, i put all my grades as pending

    Ooh, an abundance of U threads..

    I would do just that, put the result as pending. I don't think I actually declared any of my AS grades on my ucas form, anyway :s:

    I didn't declare any of my AS grades but we were told that if we got a U not to even put it as pending. So I didn't put on Geography and my geog. teacher wasn't asked to write my reference.

    So I should just get my referee to send my application back to me, remove the U grade, and put it as pending, instead, in the AS grade section?
    I can't put all my other grades as pending because they were all declared.

    you don't put down unclassified results on the UCAS form
    actually I think you do have to - since there is an option to submit a grade 'U'. They wouldnt have that option up if your not meant to show the result.

    Yeah, put it as pending if you can. You still have it as an A2 choice though, right?

    I have a kind of backwards situation to you. I put my AS grades down, but didn't put my A2 grades downs.... So I didn't put my overall down, just my AS modular and totals.
    Then my predicted.

    Hope that was right.. =/

    In any case I was still awaiting remark results and getting my papers photocopied.

    :yep: but seen as your resitting you just put the overall grade as pending and that you will receive the result in august 2009.

    I called up UCAS about this, and they said I have to put the U down, because it's been certificated.
    I am so confused. :shifty:
