Percentage uncertinity

How to find-out percentage uncertainty , if my average valve is zero.

example
%uncertainty = [(Range/2)/Average]x100

suppose if range = 0.56 and average valve = 0
then ,

%uncertainty = (0.56/0)x100 = undefined

please guide

Why do you need the % uncertainty anyway?
You cant give it as a % of a value of zero. You just give the absolute uncertainty. That is what is important.
% uncertainty is used as a means to an end, for example in combining uncertainties.
Also - shouldn't you be thinking of standard deviation here?
I suspect something that has a mean value of zero, obtained from statistics, would here be expressed with its standard deviation.

Your result is simply 0.00 +- 0.56
% uncertainty means nothing here.

Maybe if you gave more details about where this value came from, what it measures and/or how it will be used, we could give a better reply.
