Edexcel Chemistry and AQA A Biology and Physics. If you didnt have the same boards, just give your opinion here anyway stating which boards you had.

    Thanks guys.

I do OCR A biology and physics, and OCR B chemistry - don't really use revision guides, just my class notes and then I check the specification for anything I can't do, read about it (usually on wikipedia) and then I'm set for the exam!

I use CGP AS/A2 for Chemistry. I find it helpful and they follow the AQA chem. specification very well.

Revision guides are all well and good if there are gaps in your knowledge, but please please PLEASE don't underestimate the importance of past papers, especially for physics and chemistry as the questions are very similar year on year, I don't know enough about biology to comment.

The AS/A2 in a week books are ok for smallish facts. I have a 'Letts, Revise AS/A2 Biology' book also, covers most of the exam boards so is a bit of a monster, however in my opinion it doesn't explain things to well.

I have Essential A2 Biology as my textbook and find it a good quality resource, but not an 'ultimate' revision guide. My favourite is most probably 'AS/A Level Exam revision notes: Biology' By Bill Indge, no specific reason it just appeals to me more than the others.

For chemistry i just use internet notes and my class ones if necessary.
