Hello everyone and welcome to the Russell group hurt/heal game! :hi:

The winner of the last round was Queens Belfast - lets see who will win this time!

A quick recap of the rules:

Each university starts with 20 points.

Each user will have 5 points assigned to them, which they can use to add or subtract points from any university. Please bold the university whose points that you've changed or indicate it via points e.g. (+5) or (-5).

When a university reaches 0 points (or nil points in Eurovision terms) it is eliminated from the game - and no user can add points to it.

There were previous discussions on the last threads about how many points each user was allowed, but we'll stick to 5 points for now (as per the previous threads). If anyone has any suggestions on if this should be changed, just let me know.

It will be noted that each user will get 5 points per day, which will be reset at 00:00. So if you've used up your 5 points for the day, you won't be allowed to change the scores until the following day. The exception to this is when a round ends, an you've already posted for the day (in which case you will be allowed to post once in the new round as well).

Please remember the game rules and play fairly. Only one go every 24 hours. If you make an error but another player has played based on your output, your turn is locked and cannot be retrospectively changed.

A drawn round (where all of the remaining colleges in the game can be wiped out in one turn) will result in those colleges involved being reset to 20 points each, and the round restarting from there. For example:

Example of a drawn game:

College1 - 3
College2 - 2

The remaining two colleges can get wiped out on the next turn in one post:

College1 - 0 (-3)
College2 - 0 (-2)

Under these circumstances, those two colleges get reset and go back to:

College1 - 20
College2 - 20
