Nooo🥲Just curious about this. But I guess everyone who does not receive an offer in the main round is waitlisted, no matter if you have interviewed or not

Sounds that's the case. Heard that HKU won't officially reject anyone until late Aug, and it makes sense that they could give out interviews to those applied later than Dec/not invited in Dec in Apr/Jul.

Not exactly. If you read the threads of previous years there were cases that a waitlisted applicant receiving an offer after being waitlisted. In that case, the "waitlist" status was changed back to "under consideration" before an offer was received.

Yes, your application to different programmes are independently reviewed
