How do you log into the portal? I log onto Barclays Taleo and a page pops up reading the job description I’m trying to view is no longer available :/

Yeah it said I applied to retail banking but I never did, it quite shocking that Barclays can’t sort out there developers for their website

I actually think this is a Joke. I completed my VI for IBD on October 9th and haven't heard anything. The last thing was an email before Christmas saying they are now prepping to get candidates for ACs

I did AC in mid November and they finally responded to my email saying there’s been no decisions as to who will progress

Maybe they’re looking to finish every AC before giving offers. Unless you’re exceptional then they might give it in a few days

They’ve said to me for about a week before giving me a decision so who knows. I think by the end of this month the AC’s may all be done, as positions have closed for most london locations.

thanks! 2 hours+ and there's 2 parts to it, a case study and a behavioural / competency interview - i'd say the 2nd one is more important cos i didn't do too well on the case study imo

They also told me that no decisions were made yet, not sure I believe that

Anyone else get offered a role for graduate explorer program (software) before Christmas and haven’t heard anything back? (Manchester)

Reply 776

I’m in the same position for a different role, they said contracts will be out in January for me so I’m just waiting it out until the end of the month

Reply 777

Yeah they said the same to me, was just a bit confused because my application says ‘completed’, does yours? Suppose it’s good to know someone else is in the same position.

Reply 778

I got told I got the job but still haven’t been sent the contract. Been nearly a month now I think

Reply 779

Yeah mine says completed I believe, but I think that might be just related to the initial application?

I looked over last year’s discussion and they had to wait months, although I think Barclays had an actual problem with contracts then, either way Barclays seem to be a bit notorious when it comes to grad contracts in general

If not by the end of the month I think emailing them would be best
